Austin is an active 9 year old boy who is anxiously awaiting the arrival of his service dog.  Austin is a funny, and very animated boy who brings a smile to everyones face.  His unique way of looking at the world is refreshing and often quite amusing.  Austin loves being outdoors, as well as video games.
 
I believe a service dog would be a great companion for Austin, who spends most of his time playing alone.  I also feel that a service dog would provide Austin with a calming influence in social situations when the stimulation and noise becomes a bit too much for him to handle.  The dog would also provide Austin with extra security and help keep him from wandering into streets, or wandering away when he is not paying attention and is lost in his own thoughts. 
Austin is very excited about receiving a service dog, and we are hoping that his wish can be fulfilled soon.
