Vertical Express for Can Do MS 2014:  Saturday, March 8th - Schweitzer Mountain, ID

 SKI or RIDE to Make a Difference!

Vertical Express for Can Do MS is returning to Schweitzer Mountain!  This is a fun, on-mountain event for skiers, boarders, and telemarkers of all abilities and ages that benefits Can Do Multiple Sclerosis, a national nonprofit (501)(c)(3) organization and leading provider of innovative lifestyle empowerment programs for people with MS and their support partners. Come celebrate our 30th anniversary and shred amazing powder on the slopes, enjoy apres parties with your friends and help us empower families living with MS!

Four US Ski Resorts will host Vertical Express events in 2014. The series has raised over $11 Million in its 28 year history.

Schweitzer Mountain Vertical Express 2014

There is a $25 registration fee which will be included in your fundraising effort. If you raise $250 or more, you reach VIP status and get a special VIP giftbag. Additional fundraising prizes will be announced soon and there will be a grand prize for the person that raises the most for Vertical Express for Can Do MS at Schweitzer Mountain!

Sign up today as an individual or a team for a day of fun, on-snow activities and a chance to win some terrific prizes! Or come on out and volunteer for the day and enjoy the festivities!

Friday, March 7

 5:30–8:30pm: Registration Party at Alpine Motors, Hwy 95, Sandpoint

Saturday, March 8

9:00-9:45am: Late Registration and gathering
Location: Caribou Room
Photos and Registration for “Pardi Gras”  costume competition.
9:45am: Pre-Race Meeting in the Caribou Room
10:00am: Group Photo at the Clock Tower
10:15 am–12:00pm: GS race on Nastar Course
12:00-1:00pm: Break for lunch
View and Vote on the Pardi Gras Costume contestants!
1:30pm: Challenge Race meeting – location to be announced
1:45-3:30pm: Challenge Race
3:30–4:30pm: Free skiing
5:00pm: Viewing party for “Can Do – The Legacy of Jimmie Heuga”, Silent Auction and Cocktails  – Caribou Room
7:00pm: Dinner, Celebration Party & Awards and Auction  ($40 for non-participants and guests) *
8:30pm: Entertainment in Taps

Each participant receives, Race Celebration Party pass, and lift ticket. Guests are welcome!
* $40 Celebration tickets for guests payable at the door.
