They provide drop-in tutoring centers for local kids, helping with homework and focusing on creative writing. The stuff these kids are writing is so good that 826 periodically publishes books of their work. Each center has a fun themed retail store, so stop by the Echo Park Time Travel Mart ("Whenever you are, we're already then") and try the Robot Milk. Mmm... I need your support to take me to the finish line... ...and without your support, 826LA won't be able to help students ages 6-18 with their creative and expository writing skills.
