Why are you sleeping out for homeless youth on November 15?
I am sleeping out for the homeless youth on November 15th because I want to educate myself and experience first hand the hardships of sleeping out on the street. I believe that far to often society puts a rotten stigma on people who sleep on the street and we as a whole tend to forget that there are soo many kids, adults and families that were forced there because of no where else to go. Im sleeping on the street to raise awareness and help build confidence in the youth that are faced with so many more unfortunate challenges in life that most of us never think of.
Not only will this be a huge reminder of the things in life that we take for granted but a great opportunity to give back to my community that has given me so much.
EVERY DOLLAR RAISED WILL BE MATCHED by a group of very generous donors!
