Dear Friends, Family and fellow creators,
This is my sixth year participating in Nanowrimo, National Novel Writing Month. Each year during this time, November, I write a novel-or more-and I have a great time doing it with friends who are like family to me. I am a broke teenager, and not having a credit card, I have no way to donate. I ask that you, my friends, family and other writers, donate in my place.
I thank everyone who donates in my name for your kindness. Nanowrimo has inspired me over the years and given me a lot. It has always been an extraordinary experience made up of great friends, great fun, and great challenges to myself.
My goal this year for word count is to write between 300 and 400K. If I hit 300K before November thirtieth I ask you to donate $5-10 in my name.
It's nearing the end of the month and I've written nearly 200, 000 words. This week I'm pushing to hit 300K+, and while I've given up on the idea of four hundred thousand, I'm still aiming for the Nanowrimo stars.
I ask that you please sponsor me in these final days, and of course everyone who has donated gets lots of love. If you sponsor me, nanomail me or email me at diannalgunn@gmail.com with your name and a website link and I will post your name and link in a final thank you page on my blog, www.fictionalworlds.net. I'm not going to lie and say that I get a hundred thousand page views daily, but there are a fair number of people who read my blog and every little bit helps, right?
Thank you all so much.
Thankies,
~Lithy
