Our message:

We are hiking the entire Bruce Trail everyday until all 885km are completed.

Along the way, we have decided to give back and raise much needed funds for the Bruce Trail Conservancy (BTC) - the non-profit organization that cares for this tremendous trail and conserves land along its route.

Although the Bruce Trail is a continuous 885 km footpath, 40% of the Bruce Trail corridor is still vulnerable to development. The BTC has been responsible for protecting over 10,000 acres along the Escarpment land, but development pressures are increasing and more of this precious greenspace needs to be protected before it is lost.

Click on the orange "Sponsor Us" button to support the important work of the Bruce Trail Conservancy.

All donations of $10 or more will receive a tax receipt from the Bruce Trail Conservancy.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Margaret & Ruth

We're "Bruce Trail Thru-Hike for the Bruce Trail Conservancy"

The Bruce Trail, Canada's oldest and longest footpath, provides the only continuous public access to the magnificent Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.

The Bruce Trail Conservancy (BTC) is a charitable, membership-based, volunteer-driven organization committed to establishing a conservation corridor along the Niagara Escarpment containing the Bruce Trail.

Established over 50 years ago, the BTC is one of Ontario’s largest land trusts, preserving $1 to 2 million worth of land every year, with donated funds. The BTC has been responsible for the permanent protection of over 10,000 acres of irreplaceable Escarpment landscape.
