September 15 is an exciting day for BC technology companies!

The first TechForum of the season welcomes Iain Black, Minister of Small Business, Technology and Economic Development. Minister Black will speak about the importance of building capacity in BC technology companies and the role our industry plays in building British Columbia’s economy.

Following Minister Black's address, honoured representatives from the Provincial and Federal Governments will announce their support of a new initiative designed specifically for our technology companies.

About the CTO Peer Group:

The CTO Peer Group is a BCTIA member only peer group, created and facilitated by member CTOs and their peers. It is open to those holding the title of CTO or EVP/SVP/VPs of R&D or those holding an equivalent top executive level title within BCTIA member technology companies. Roundtable sessions provide an informal learning environment that encourages and facilitates open discussions focused on issues and topics of interest; identified by the group at the beginning of each season. Member CTOs meet once a month in the mornings from 8:00am to 9:30am to share common challenges and solutions over coffee and light breakfast snacks.

The goal of the Product Management Group is to promote and enhance the profession of Product Management in BC’s technology industry. The BCTIA with Members of the Product Management Group work collaboratively to:

Provide networking and peer building opportunities for product managers

Product Management Group events are open to product managers, product marketing managers or those responsible for product management in their organization.
