Item: CD - Songs for a Time of Healing

With all songs written and produced by musicians in the Archdiocese of Detroit, Songs for a Time of Healing is an album of sacred music made especially to raise awareness of, and funds for, the victims of the Jan. 12 earthquake in Haiti.
The project was coordinated by Louis Canter, director of music ministries for the archdiocese, who wrote three of the four songs on the CD.
Songs from the album will be performed at an upcoming Choir Festival at 4 p.m., March 14 at St. Isidore Church, 18201 Twenty Three Mile Road in Macomb Township.
