The Polar Plunge provides opportunities for individuals, groups, and supporters! You can choose to plunge alone and raise money for the Bayfield Rec Center, or get a group of friends together and raise pledges for a nonprofit or school group of your choice.

Plungers should arrive between 12:00 and 1:00 pm for sign-in. At Sign-in, you’ll let us know you are here, sign or turn in waivers, and turn in cash and check pledges. All plungers must sign in and all plungers must have a signed waiver turned in before plunging.

If you collected pledges as a group for a nonprofit or school organization, a percentage of your pledges will be returned to you by check following the event. The more money you raise, the higher the return!

-Groups that raise up to $999 receive a check for 50%

-Groups that raise $1,000 to $2,999 receive a check 60%

-Groups that raise over $3,000 receive a check for 70%
