DESCRIPTION:\n   \n\n  \n    \n       Free\n        the Spirit Festival\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    Presented\n      by Winnipeg Kinsmen\n  \n\n \n\n  \n    \n      September\n        20\, 2025\n    \n  \n\n \n\n  \n    \n      Free\n        the Spirit Festival supports the St.Amant Foundation\, this event\n        is an opportunity to support and celebrate diversity within our community!\n    \n  \n\n \n\n  The\n    Festival takes place at St.Amant\, 440 River Road in the Buhler\n    Gardens and in Parking lot C - fun begins at 10 am to 2 pm.\n\n\n  There\n    are opportunities for all abilities. Participants are invited to\n    join the 2k walk (or roll) or challenge yourself by joining the 5k\n    run. This is an amazing opportunity to challenge yourself\, family\n    and friends to be active while raising pledges in support of\n    St.Amant Foundation. \n\n\n  With\n    your help\, we can enhance the quality of life for more than 5\,000\n    people with developmental disabilities\, autism and acquired brain\n    injuries by providing opportunities to create friendships\, to stay\n    active\, to learn\, to be independent\, and to have fun!\n\n\n  \n    What to expect on September 20th:\n  \n\n\n  \n    Kids’\n      activities such as inflatable bouncers\, face painting\, games\,\n      animal interactions\, bubbles and more!\n  \n  \n    Food\n  \n  \n    Live\n      entertainment for children and adults\n  \n  \n    2k\n      Fun Walk for all to enjoy \n  \n  \n    5k\n      run ($25 registration fee)\n  \n  \n    Artisans Market\n  \n  \n    &amp\; more!\n  \n\n\n  And\n    most importantly - it is FREE to attend\n    and FREE to register for the Walk and start your\n    fundraising today!\n\n \n\n  FREQUENTY\n    ASKED QUESTIONS: \n\n  \n    \n      I want to join the 2k Walk\, do I have to register?\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    NO\n   - registration is not required to participate in the 2k\n  Walk. However\, registering for the walk will allow you to create a\n  fundraising page to collect pledges. All walkers are encouraged to\n  collect pledges - every dollar counts!\n\n  \n    \n      \n        I want to\n          join the 5k Run\, do I have to register?\n      \n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      YES\n     - registration is required to participate in the 5k Run. It\n    will allow us to ensure we are providing all the require safety for\n    our runner. There is also a $25 registration fee for the run. \n\n  \n    \n      I want to collect pledges but don't think I can raise a\n        large amount\, should I still register and create a fundraising page?\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    YES\n   - everyone is encouraged to register &amp\; start collecting\n  pledges. There is no number too small when it comes to fundraising. \n\n  \n    \n      I can't make it to the Festival\, can I still collect\n        pledges to help raise funds?\n    \n   \n\n  \n    \n      YES\n     - simply register for the "Walk OR Collect Pledges"\n    and from there you'll be prompted to create your fundraising page.\n    Paper pledge forms are also available at freethespiritfestival.ca\n      - click here. \n\n  \n    \n      Is everything at the Festival on Saturday\, September 20 free?\n    \n   \n\n  Thanks to our\n    incredible sponsors\, the entertainment such as inflatable bouncers\,\n    face paint\, bubble lab\, popcorn station\, animal encounters\, live\n    entertainment\, browsing the Artisans Market &amp\; more is all FREE. \n    Lunch tickets are available for purchase on site\, and donations\n    are warmly welcomed.\n\n \n\n  \n    MORE QUESTIONS? Contact Nadine Hink at nhink@stamant.ca\n\n
