DESCRIPTION:\n  \n    \n      The\n        Rotary Club of West Vancouver Sunrise and British Pacific\n        Properties are proud to present\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \n        The 15th Annual \n         Rotary Ride for Rescue \n        \n      \n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      May 30th\, 2026 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM \n    \n   \n\n  \n    \n      \n          Feel\n            the sense of accomplishment after conquering one of the\n            toughest climbs on the North Shore. Now experience that\n            feeling with your community\, in support of an incredible\n            cause. Whether you are going for your best time\, climbing\n            Cypress for the first time or are in it for the cause\, this\n            year's timed bike challenge is going to be an elevated\n            experience you don't want to miss out on. \n        \n        \n          Participants\n            will ride up Cypress Mountain beginning at the junction of\n            Cypress Bowl Road and Cypress Lane and finishing at the\n            Cypress Mountain Nordic Area. \n        \n        \n          Our\n            goal is to fundraise a total of $100\,000. With the help of\n            our incredible sponsors\, we are well on our way to reaching\n            that goal. We are asking all participants to fundraise a\n            minimum of $100. Did we mention that the top fundraisers\n            will receive some incredible prizes? \n        \n       \n             \n                   \n        \n        \n  \n\n \n\n  \n    Event Timeline |  May 30th\, 2026\n  \n\n\n  7:45 AM\n    - 8:45 AM Check-In  9:00 AM Ride Start 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM\n    Celebration at Cypress Pop-Up Village\n\n\n  \n    Register\n   \n\n\n  Please complete\n\nJoin a team etc (same first page as in the past) Include all of the\n  personal info but delete the day phone number (instead put preferred\n  phone number) and the question as to whether you are a cycling bc\n  member Delete the Additional Information Section continue on with the\n  payment section Visa etc\n \n\n \n\n  The\n    registration fee is $60. Participants are also asked to raise a\n    suggested minimum of $100 in pledges. You must be 13 years or older\n    to participate.  Anyone under the age of 18 must have a guardian at\n    the event - and yes\, they can ride too. \n\n\n  You can\n    register as an individual\, join or start a team!\n\n\n  \n    Registration\n      can be done online up until the day before and on-site up until\n      8am. Please register online and complete the waiver prior to\n      arrival if possible.\n  \n\n\n  \n    There are 4 options for participation: \n  \n\n\n   1. Road Cyclist\n\n\n  Starting\n    at the junction of Cypress Bowl Road and Cypress Lane\, you will gain\n    900m in elevation over the distance of 14 KM\, finishing your ride at\n    the Nordic Area. Conquer this ride on a road or E-bike. \n    \n  \n\n\n  2.\n    Mountain Biker \n\n\n  Take on\n    the challenge of riding up the 11 KM BLT Mountain Bike Trail\, a\n    medium-grade logging road with some steep sections. Conquer this ride on a mountain\, gravel or E-bike.\n\n \n\n \n\n  Fundraise\n\n\n  Once\n    registered you will have access to your personal fundraising portal.\n    We make it extremely easy for you to reach your fundraising goal -\n    with the ability to recruit team members and pledges right in your\n    account. Please consider reaching our suggested fundraising minimum\n    of $100.  \n\n  Tax\n    receipts are issued for pledges of $30 or more. \n\n\n  Great\n    prizes will not only be given to the top fundraisers but also to the\n    fastest individuals. Invite family and friends to\n    celebrate with you and enjoy the breakfast. A complimentary shuttle\n    from the top of Cypress to the Pop-Up Village will be available. \n    When registering\, please let us know if you think you will use these services.\n\n\n  This\n    year we are excited to partner with British Pacific Properties for a\n    post-ride celebration at the newly opened Cypress Pop-Up Village.\n    This public gathering space brings the convenience of a park with a\n    food vendor\, bike wash and repair\, an amazing view as well as local art. \n\n\n  Cypress\n    Pop-Up Village is at McGavin Field (located between Mulgrave School\n    and Cypress Lookout).
