Hello friends and family,
I want to take a moment to tell you what this ride means. This is not just me getting on a bike and riding 62 miles for cancer. It is personal. This is about me getting on my bike and riding to help find a cure for my Best Friend, Tracy (pictured above).
In March Tracy was diagnosed with cancer in her pancreas and liver. She lives in South Carolina and immediately contacted Moffitt Cancer Center here in Tampa for help. Moffitt took her in and began treatement immediately. What an unbelievable hospital of hope. I have never met such wonderful and caring people in a hospital as these.
Tracy starts chemo treatement #4 in just a couple days and the good news is that she is responding. The tumors are shrinking!
Tracy has a very rare type of cancer called Neuroendocrine. There is not alot of options with this type and research still needs to be done. Helping with this cause will help fund that research.... will give other "Best Friends" a fighting chance.
Tracy is my hero. She has fought so hard against this evil disease and I pray to God she will get the miracle she deserves.
Please support me, to support her and her fight!
Thanks,
Amy
