Here is my song/my story: I have been living with an Oligodendroglioma Brain Tumor that I’ve named Oscar, since 2004. He resides behind that trap door of staples you see in the photo. My first open brain surgery was July 12, 2004. My second open brain surgery was March 24, 2008. This surgery was followed up with a year of chemotherapy. Both surgeries and all of my care and follow up have been at Moffitt Cancer Center. I have come a long way thanks Moffitt Cancer Center and will do anything I can to help others overcome cancer & become survivors.
Please join me & my Team Moffitt Megaphones in this Cure on Wheels Ride, Sponsor Me or Donate so future generations have a chance of overcoming this disease and becoming survivors like me! Thank you!
- For my Grandpa Drabick who had Colon Cancer (It was never really spoken about while he was alive.)
- For my Grandpa Buccini who passed away of Prostate Cancer (We didn’t even know until he passed away.)
- For my Grandma Buccini who was just diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 86 & it's starting to spread
- For my Cousin Rick who recently survived Colo-Rectal Cancer
- For my Uncle Ronnie who recently survived Rectal Cancer
- For my Counsin's husband Pat who was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer
- For my Brain Tumor Friends Greg and Wayne who are living with GBM Tumors
- For my Soul Sister Francesca’s Father who is currently undergoing chemo for a GMB Tumor
- For my friend Dan who is undergoing Clinical Trial Treatment for Leukemia
- For my FB friend Sandy who is living with an inoperable brain tumor
- For my FB friend Keith’s Mom who is battling cancer
- For my long time friend Glenn's brother who recently passed away of prostate cancer
And for the many, many others whose lives are touched by this disease-may there be a cure someday-so no-one else has to suffer or pass away!
