Dear Friends and Family,
In continuing with my annual tradition, I have signed up for fundraising bike ride this fall. However, since we just moved to Tampa, traveling to Texas or Oregon was not feasible this year, so we were not able to do the LiveSTRONG Challenge. Instead, Nate and I have joined a team at my work and will be raising funds for the Moffitt Cancer Center. This happens to be the cancer center where I am working here in Tampa. We joined a team with the Leukemia and Lymphoma experts called Cute Leuks and Lympho-Maniacs!! All the money raised will benefit Moffitt.
The H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center is one of the top cancer centers in the United States. The research that is being done at Moffitt is impacting the way people with cancer are being treated around the world. Your support will allow this productive work to continue. In addition to this, your donation will allow Moffitt to provide resouces to people affected by cancer, such as support programs, survivorship programs and housing programs for patients who live far away, just to name a few.

Cure on Wheels raises money for Tampa Bay families coping with a diagnosis of cancer through an annual Cure on Wheels Bike Challenge.
This year our event takes place at the beautiful Flatwoods Park located in Tampa Florida. As Florida’s only ride to benefit cancer research, Cure on Wheel’s intention is to successfully meld support from committed cyclists, volunteers, corporate sponsors and individual contributors. All are essential to Cure on Wheel's goal and model: to attain maximum fundraising efficiency while increasing its annual gift.
Our hope and aspiration is to provide Tampa Bay families the necessary resources to help them cope with the potentially debilitating diagnosis of cancer.
