I am very fortunate and excited to be participating in my first medical relief and education mission with members of Team Broken Earth Guatemala in January 2019!
The hospital we will be volunteering at is only open when surgical mission teams are there. All the patients are brought in from remote areas where health care is extremely limited. These patients and their families often live on less than $1 a day and rely on missions like ours to recieve the medical treatment they need.
