I will be heading back to Guatemala for a third time to participate in a medical relief and education mission with members of Team Broken Earth in October 2022. We will be providing much needed cleft lip and palate, orthopedic, gynecological, and hernia surgeries for the Guatemalans. This will be my third trip to Guatemala and it is such an honour to offer our help and so satisfying. The people of Guatemala are so friendly and thankful for the care they receive. Many of them live on less than $2 a day and travel for countless hours to receive treatment.
I have created my own fundraising page to collect donations in support of this effort. The money we raise goes directly to pay for supplies needed for these surgeries and also to get the patients to the clinic for surgery.
