I am so excited to be participating in a medical relief and education mission with members of Team Broken Earth Vancouver in Antigua, Guatemala this October!
TBE Vancouver is returning to Guatemala for a fourth mission to work with ‘Partner for Surgery’ (PFS). Our team will travel to Guatemala from October 14-22, 2023, to provide surgical care for those living in Guatemala’s most remote and underserved regions. The patients we treat are largely Indigenous Mayan people, who often travel great distances to receive pre-operative assessment and surgery by our team of specialized physicians and nurses. This year, our team will focus on providing care to those needing gynecological, orthopedic and general surgery.
Team Broken Earth provides medical care and education in disaster stricken and developing nations. Our missions focus on providing much needed care to those most in need, and supporting and reinforcing the healthcare system in some of the poorest countries in the world.
