We will be participating in a medical relief and education mission with members of Team Broken Earth Vancouver in Oct 2023.
This will be Kyle's second and Su-Yin's third medical mission. We are so lucky to be welcomed by the people of Guatemala and to be joining our Vancouver team again. Kyle's favourite memory is teaching a child what a crayon is and how to use it. Su-Yin's favourite memory is getting a heartfelt thank you from a respected elder who normally resides in a village in rural Guatemala
We have created our own fundraising page to collect donations in support of this effort. Kyle and I have bought our own flights and so all fundraising will go towards staff housing, medications, equipment and patient care related items (like blood).

Team Broken Earth provides medical care and education in disaster stricken and developing nations. Our missions focus on providing much needed care to those most in need, and supporting and reinforcing the healthcare system in some of the poorest countries in the world.
