In November this year, I will be volunteering with a team of healthcare professionals to provide necessary surgical care to Indigenous Mayan patients in Antigua, Guatemala. This non-profit organisation, Team Broken Earth, work with Partner For Surgery to connect surgical teams with people from remote communities who would be unable to receive care otherwise.
This year we will be performing specialized surgeries in orthopedic (trauma & joints), gynecological, and general surgery. Our team consists of over 40 specialist physicians (anesthetists & surgeons), nurses (RN’s & LPN’s), and allied health professionals.
To help support the mission and the charity, I am hoping to raise $2,000. Please help me reach my fundraising goals.
Team Broken Earth provides medical care and education in disaster stricken and developing nations. Our missions focus on providing much needed care to those most in need, and supporting and reinforcing the healthcare system in some of the poorest countries in the world.
