I’m so excited to be joining Team Broken Earth Vancouver once again for a medical relief and education mission in Guatemala this November 2025!

Volunteering with this team has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my career. Working alongside passionate healthcare professionals to provide care, share knowledge, and help strengthen local health systems has been incredibly rewarding.

This year is especially exciting — it’s our first year performing total knee replacements! I’ll be part of the orthopedic team helping patients regain mobility and independence, many of whom have lived with chronic pain for years without access to surgery.

Alongside our colleagues in gynecology and general surgery, we’ll be providing essential procedures and hands-on training to local healthcare providers, helping ensure our impact continues long after the mission ends.
