This February, I am honored to join Team Vancouver for our upcoming mission to the Alta Verapaz region of Guatemala. While I have participated in surgical missions in the past, this marks my first medical mission. While my previous work centered on the operating room, this trip allows me to reach patients even earlier by providing essential primary care to vulnerable families and identifying those in urgent need of surgery before their conditions worsen. From February 21–28, 2026, our team will work in remote communities where healthcare is a rare luxury.Your support helps us bring these life-changing services directly to those who need them most.
