Please help raise funds for a new ultrasound for our surgical and rural missions to Guatemala. I will be participating in a medical relief and education mission with members of Team Broken Earth Vancouver in November 2026.
As many of you know, global health work, especially in Guatemala is a passion of mine. This will be my 8th trip to Guatemala and last year it was identified that there was a need for a ultrasound that would allow regional anesthesia blocks to be safely performed (the current machine is over 10 years old) as well as an ultrasound that could be used in the rural clinics where the surgical patients are triaged.
I am raising funds to purchase a new ultrasound machine that is portable and excellent for both tasks. Every dollar raised will go towards this machine.
