As we move closer to Father’s Day, I am asking you to step up the fight against prostate cancer and support the men you love.
Did you know 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime? Yet many don’t get screened until it’s too late.
My dad was the one I went to for advice, guidance, and strength. Losing him to prostate cancer completely changed our lives. He was diagnosed, and just like that, we lost him. The time between his diagnosis and his passing felt like a blink. This June, my family and I will be walking 5K in the Father’s Day Walk for Prostate Cancer in his memory.
We’re raising funds to support research, spread awareness, and assist those battling this disease. Together, we can make a real difference in the fight against prostate cancer.
Thank you so much for your support.
This walk means everything to my family and me.
Let’s keep fighting for a world where more fathers, brothers, and sons have the chance to beat this disease.
THE JUNE 15, 2025 FATHER'S DAY EVENT
Is an annual event hosted by Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada, a volunteer based organization that represents Canada’s prostate cancer patients, their families and communities. Even if you aren’t a walker or a runner, you can still step up and volunteer or consider donating to PCFC to fund research for this disease that currently affects 1 in 8 men.
Every donation, no matter how small, will have a large impact for men and their families dealing with a diagnosis of prostate cancer in Canada.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for giving the men in your life the gift of health this Father's Day.
