I'm walking in aid of prostate cancer support!
Canadian men face an uncertain future with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Yes, there are treatment options, but the reality is cancer is cancer! Prostate cancer is the #1 cancer for men, and the second leading cause of their death from cancer. 1 in 8 Canadian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
We, as a Support Group, assist men and their caregivers with information and camaraderie from survivors, as well as performing public awareness presentations and continuing to fundraise once annually for PCFC; but it's not enough.
We need your help now more than ever. As we move closer to Father’s Day, and are asking you to step up in the fight against prostate cancer and to make a donation to the 27th Annual Father’s Day Walk/Run for Prostate Cancer via our web page below.
It is an annual event hosted by Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada, a volunteer based organization that represents Canada’s prostate cancer patients, their families and communities. Everyone can still step up and volunteer, or consider donating.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, and for giving the men in your life the gift of health this Father's Day. Clark
