On June 14th,  I will be riding up Cypress Mountain in the Rotary Ride for Rescue to raise much-needed funds for North Shore Rescue and other Rotary humanitarian projects. This year, they have an overall goal is $150,000.

Climb For Causes

The Rotary Ride for Rescue, the Capilano Volkswagen Cypress Challenge presented by Glotman Simpson Cycling and the Escape Velocity Seymour Challenge for dEVo youth cycling development are thrilled to announce the Climb for Causes competition, a three stage hill climb to take the King and Queen of the Mountains titles. Everyone 17 years and older who enters these events (road only) are automatically entered to the Climb for Causes championship. It’s that simple! The quickest cumulative time of all three events, male and female, will win a KOM or QOM jersey with a pocket full of cash. Each age category winner will be leaving with some cash too.
