Our message:

The annual Easter Egg Hunt For Dogs for National Service Dogs (NSD) is fast approaching and Sophie is looking forward to filling her Easter Basket.  The event is being held on Good Friday, April 19, and she would welcome your donation to help support NSD programs that train dogs for autistic children, veterans with PTSD and other disabled people.  For more information refer to their website - www.nsd.on.ca.  Arlene and Bryan, Sophie's owners, will be going with her on the hunt.

You can support us by donating online (the more she raises, the more treats she gets).  Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.  It is easier and cheaper for NSD volunteers to sent out electronic receipts, so please include your email address.  If you prefer not to donate online, contact Arlene and Bryan at 519-993-7680 or abfuhr@teksavvy.com.

Give the gift of independence this Easter. Sponsor a National Service Dogs Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs participant today. Your support will help us reach our goal of $120,000 for NSD programs and services this year. Thank you for helping us get specially trained dogs to the people who need them.

National Service Dogs (NSD) has been an innovator and international pioneer in the field of Service Dog intervention for nearly twenty years. Founded in 1996 as a response to the increasing need for effective interventions in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder, NSD was the first organization in the world to develop a Service Dog program for children with autism. Over our 23 year history NSD has continued to respond to the needs of a greater majority of individuals living with physical, mental and emotional challenges. We are proud to be the only accredited organization in Canada providing Service Dogs to veterans and non-veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); the first in Ontario to establish a Canine Assisted Intervention program for children and adults recovering from abuse, trauma, and stroke; and a leader in Companion Dog services.

For more information on NSD's programming, visit www.nsd.on.ca.
