I have decided to take on the challenge of participating in the Rotary Club Bike-A-Thon which involves biking to Harrison Hot Springs, a distance of 120 km. This will be my first "century ride" (100 km or more in a day) so I am both excited and nervous about it.
As someone that is experiencing a significant hearing loss I can say from first hand experience that it is pretty unpleasant. Understanding conversation in a noisy room can be challenging and music becomes less enjoyable when your body hears it in "mono". Funding for more research can make a difference as demonstrated by the "Janelle Video" on this site.
