Folks - very appreciative of your donation to my ride on Sunday, July 9th in support of the deaf and hard of hearing in British Columbia. This is very worthy cause. There are over 400,000 people in British Columbia who suffer from hearing loss and more than 50,000 who are totally deaf.
The research work we support continues to improve the quality of life for the deaf. The educational services assist families working with deaf and hard of hearing children. They help deaf children and children with cochlear implants learn to speak.
I have been doing the Rotary Club of Vancouver ride since 2006 and will continue as long as I am able.
This year the Ride for Hearing is a circular route around Vancouver, Richmond and Steveston. The ride will be 100 km starting from Spanish Banks, once around Stanley Park then on to Richmond, Steveston and back to finish at Spanish Banks.
Please help me reach my fundraising goals!
