I'm walking in support of prostate cancer patients and their families!
While we all wait for our turn at a vaccine for COVID-19, men across Canada are facing an uncertain future with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Yes there are treatment options, but the reality is cancer is cancer, and we all know there is no vaccine for it! Prostate cancer is the #1 cancer for men and the second leading cause of cancer death. 1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Support me and make a donation to Prostate Cancer Foundation BC's 23rd Annual Father’s Day Walk/Run for Prostate Cancer via my personal web page above-right. You help our group plus other groups across Canada.
Every donation, big or small, will have a huge impact for men and their families dealing with a prostate cancer diagnosis in Canada.
Half of the funds our team raises will come back to our local group, PCS Toronto, for our local support activites. The other half will be used by Prostate Cancer Foundation BC to help other support groups in Canada, many of whom do not have the resouces of groups in the larger cities.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for giving the men in your life the gift of health this Father's Day.
