I am asking you to step up the fight of prostate cancer and support me in my ongoing journey as a prostate cancer survivor.
Would you help me and make a donation to Prostate Cancer Foundation BC’s annual "Its a Snow Day"
Why am I participating in the event? Because this is a fun event and I enjoy skiing. The Butts in Motion is a group of prostate cancer survivors who originally got started as a dragon boat team which also engaged in an exercise class after each session. Covid changed the routine but they carried on holding a Monday & Thursday virtual exercise class. In September I was invited to join the exercise class and it has been a real benefit to me as I carry on my PC journey. However, the real reason is for the tens of thousands of men living courageously with prostate cancer and their families. It’s for all the men who have died from this disease and the families who have lost loved ones. It’s for the roughly 25,000 men who will be diagnosed each year in Canada and everyone who cares about them.
Prostate Cancer Foundation BC, is a volunteer based organization that represents BC’s prostate cancer patients, their families and communities. Please consider donating to this disease that currently affects 1 in 9 men.
Every donation, no matter how small, will have a large impact for men and their families dealing with a diagnosis of prostate cancer in BC. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
