"I'm Riding" in support of prostate cancer!  

This will be my third year supporting this cause and I will again have a team with me.

One of my son-in-laws - Jake - along with two of his good friends are teaming up with me to raise funds for prostate cancer research and awareness.  I am third generation prostate cancer on my dad's side.  It took the life of my paternal grandfather when I was 10 years old.  My dad was diagnosed with it when i was in my late 30s.  He continues to fight it to this day, having gone through various different treatment options at various stages.  Currently he is on one of the new BC Cancer clinic trials/protocol tests for some of the new up and coming medicines.  I have lived with my diagnosis for almost five years now.

For all the men who are living with the same diagnosis I have, as well as all the friends and families of those men that continue to stand beside them in support - I am once again fundraising for PCFC. I also have a son so i am riding because i hope that we continue to make strides in the detection, treatment and cure of Prostate Cancer for the next generation.
