My personal message:

Hi folks!

My name is Gerry, and I run a webpage, YouTube channel, and Instagram account called (Youtube & Insta: eastcoasthikerDOTca). I share on these networks important (to me, at least) hikes that I've undertaken. My plan for the fall/winter and early 2023 is to put a lot of East Coast Trail content up, including video detailing my Trail Raiser On The Go experience!

The 2022 Trail Raiser On the Go is an exciting 8-week challenge along the East Coast Trail. The challenge starts on September 12th and concludes on November 6th. Support me as I take part in this challenge to raise funds and support for the East Coast Trail, Newfoundland's legendary hiking trail that stretches 336 km along the rugged coastline. This event will benefit trail maintenance and enhancement efforts throughout the province.

This year, the East Coast Trail Association's 2022 Trail Raiser On the Go has a fundraising goal of $50,000 to support the trail's maintenance, enhancement and protection. Please click Sponsor Me to donate.

The ECTA and the trail are a worthy cause, and one that is close to my heart. I have spent many hours on these trails, and the work done by the ECTA is crucial to that experience. It's time to give back!

Thank you!
