My personal message:

I am participating in Toronto's annual Buddy Walk to help raise awareness for Down syndrome in our community as well as raise funds for The Down Syndrome Association of Toronto (DSAT).

The Down Syndrome Association of Toronto runs solely on donations. These donations are fundamental in continuing to offer programs to individiuals with Down Syndrome and their families. DSAT offers a wide range of programs including social programs, skill-building, critical support programs and programs for new and expectant parents.

Blake has inspired me in so many ways, and ultimately lead me to my current role as the Event Coordinator for DSAT. Please support me on this year's Buddy Walk if you are able in honor of Blake!

Just click "Sponsor Me" to make a donation.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to help raise public awareness and raise funds to support the programs and services provided to children and adults with Down syndrome.

[edit]

The Down Syndrome Association of Toronto (DSAT) is a non-profit registered charitable organization established in 1987, consisting of passionate volunteer parents, siblings, friends and citizens who are devoted to improving the potential of people with Down syndrome. DSAT is a proud leader for raising awareness, equality and opportunity for people with Down syndrome. Funds raised support numerous programs, social events, and educational seminars, for people with Down syndrome and their families.

Every Dollar Counts!

DSAT receives no government funding and relies on private donations to provide programming for our community. Most of the money raised remains with DSAT and 7% of the funds support the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) and their efforts for advocacy for people with Down syndrome.
