Our message:

Dear Friends, Family, and Colleagues,

Team Hailey, will be participating in Toronto's Virtual Buddy Walk from August 15th to September 4th, to help raise awareness for Down syndrome in our community as well as raise funds for The Down Syndrome Association of Toronto (DSAT).

Developed by the National Down Syndrome Association (NDSS) in 1995, the Buddy Walk® promotes awareness and inclusion for people with Down syndrome. It also aims to raise funds for education, research, advocacy, and community-based programs. The Buddy Walk® is the world’s most widely recognized public awareness program for the Down syndrome community.

Where does my money go? Most of the money raised remains with DSAT and supports various activities in Toronto. A small portion of the funds supports the National Down Syndrome Association (NDSS) and their efforts for advocacy for people with Down syndrome.

It's easy for you to help with our campaign. Any donation amount will help. Just click "Sponsor Us" to make a donation.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to help raise public awareness and raise funds to support the programs and services provided to children and adults with Down syndrome.

Jonathan, Christine & Hailey

For more information about the DSAT Buddy Walk please visit the DSAT website here:

The Down Syndrome Association of Toronto (DSAT) is a non-profit registered charitable organization established in 1987, consisting of passionate volunteer parents, siblings, friends and citizens who are devoted to improving the potential of people with Down syndrome. DSAT is a proud leader for raising awareness, equality and opportunity for people with Down syndrome. Funds raised support numerous programs, social events, and educational seminars, for people with Down syndrome and their families.

Every Dollar Counts!

DSAT receives no government funding and relies on private donations to provide programming for our community. Most of the money raised remains with DSAT and 7% of the funds support the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) and their efforts for advocacy for people with Down syndrome.
