I will be participating in a medical relief and education mission in Haiti with members of Team Broken Earth from Halifax in October 2018. This is a fantastic opportunity that I am honored to be a part of and very much looking forward to the experience!!
I have created my own fundraising page to collect donations in support of this effort.
A little about myself: A graduate of the Dalhousie University School of Nursing class of 2011, I specialized in emergency nursing until I switched to the operating room as a perioperative nurse two years ago. I've also worked as a sexual assault nurse in Halifax and spent a summer working with the military in the Yukon as a camp nurse at a cadet camp in Whitehorse. I love to learn and challenge myself and have always had an interest in volunteering to provide medical relief and am excited to be a part of the team going in October.
Please consider donating to this important cause. Use the link at the bottom of this email, and go visit my site.
Team Broken Earth provides medical care and education in disaster stricken and developing nations. Our missions focus on providing much needed care to those most in need, and supporting and reinforcing the healthcare system in some of the poorest countries in the western world.
