Funds raised the Toronto Sunrisers Team will support a local charity APAA (Africans in Partnership Against Aids). To learn more about the important work APAA does with the African diaspora in the GTA visit http://www.apaa.ca . 75% of funds raised by our team will go to support APAA.  In addition, funds raised by our team will assist communities stricken by HIV/AIDS in overcoming shortages of drinking water, food, or shelter – essential for recovery and a sustainable future through Dignitas International

Did you know that 32,000,000 women, children, men are now living with HIV/AIDS - As many more have already died - New cases outgrowing treatments by 250% - AIDS is a war on women and children - Over 50% of adults living with HIV are female - Monogamous mothers often powerless to say "no" to unprotected sex - 12,000,000 orphans in sub-Saharan Africa alone - No community is immune (73,000 cases in Canada)
