Bringing Health Care to Nganjoni

This year we are walking to support the ongoing work of the Rotary Club of Alliston and District 7070 in the Kilema Region of Tanzania. Specifically the funds raised will assist in the procurement and delivery of much needed medical equipment to the Nganjoni Medical Clinic.   Nganjoni is a rural community of about 15,000 people.  The Nganjoni Clinic was built 3 years ago but stands virtually empty, without even basic equipment. Once equipped the clinic will focuss on, disease prevention including the testing of HIV/AIDS, maternal and infant care, and basic emergency treatment.
