This January, Team NL will travel to the Dominican Republic for our first medical mission, partnering with Community Empowerment and RUSH University to provide primary care to families living near the Duquesa landfill — one of the largest in the world.

Many in this community, including a large number of Haitian migrants, face daily hardships and have little access to healthcare. Our volunteers from Newfoundland are stepping up to offer medical support, compassion, and hope where it’s needed most.
