As we move closer to Father’s Day, we are asking you to step up for those with prostate cancer and support the men you love. Help us by making a donation to Island Prostate Centre’s annual Raymond James Father's Day Walk / Run.
Why are we participating in the run? Because this run is for the tens of thousands of Canadian men and families living courageously with prostate cancer. It’s for all the men who have died from this disease and the families who have lost loved ones. It's about preventing others from dying, because with early detection, the survival rate is between 90-95%. We know we can't run from prostate cancer so this year, we are running for it!
The Raymond James Father's Day Walk / Run, which takes place on Sunday June 18th, 2017, is an annual event hosted by Island Prostate Centre - a grass-roots organization in Victoria that helps raise awareness and research funding for prostate cancer. Prostate Cancer is the number one cancer threat to men. Please consider donating to combat this disease that currently affects 1 in 8 Canadian men. Every donation, no matter how small, will have a large impact for men and their families dealing with a diagnosis of prostate cancer on Vancouver Island. All money raised here stays here.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for giving the men in your life the gift of health this Father's Day.
