This January, Team Vancouver will return to Guatemala to continue our important work in in the departments of Alta Verapaz and Quiché. A dedicated team of medical professionals and translators will travel to the remote communities of Ixcán, Chisec, and San Juan Chamelco, where access to healthcare is extremely limited.

Our mission is to identify patients in urgent need of surgery while providing essential primary care to vulnerable families. For many people living in rural Guatemala, basic medical services, particularly surgical care, remain out of reach. Our team is committed not only to delivering immediate medical treatment, but also to building lasting partnerships and improving access to healthcare in the communities we serve.
