We are walking in support of prostate cancer!
While we all wait for our turn at a vaccine for COVID-19, men across Canada are facing an uncertain future with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Yes there are treatment options, but the reality is cancer is cancer, and we all know there is no vaccine for it!
Prostate cancer is the #1 cancer for men and the second leading cause of cancer death. Roughly 26,000 Canadian men will be diagnosed in 2021 and 1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime.
Now more than ever men are feeling alone in their cancer fight. Support groups such as ours will continue to do what we can but it is not enough. We need your help now more than ever. As we move closer to Father's Day, we are asking you to step up the fight against prostate cancer and support the men you love.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Support me and make a donation to the Annual Father’s Day Walk/Run for Prostate Cancer via my personal web page below.
Every donation, big or small, will have a huge impact for men and their families dealing with a prostate cancer diagnosis.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for giving the men in your life the gift of health this Father's Day.
