"I'm Riding" in support of prostate cancer!
While the world holds its breath awaiting a vaccine for COVID-19, men across Canada are facing an uncertain future with a prostate cancer diagnosis.Yes there are treatment options, but the reality is cancer is cancer, and we all know there is no vaccine for it! Prostate cancer is the #1 cancer for men and the third leading cause of cancer death. 1 in 9 men will be diagnose with prostate cancer this year.
Now more than ever men are feeling alone in their cancer fight. With other resources at a minimum, Prostate Cancer BC has continued to step up their services. When they were forced to close the in person support groups, they creatively took them online. Prostate Cancer BC gathered speakers from all corners of the globe to present the best to anyone who needs it.
Would you help my team by making a donation to Prostate Cancer BC’s Annual Westcoast Motorcycle Ride To Live?
We will continue to ride and fundraise; but it's not enough. We need your help now more than ever. As we move closer to the Ride To Live, I am asking you to step up and support the men you love.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Support me and my team by making a donation to Prostate Cancer Foundation BC's Annual Father’s Day Walk/Run for Prostate Cancer via my personal web page below.
WHY AM I PARTICIPATING IN THE RUN?
Because this run is for the tens of thousands of Canadian men living courageously with prostate cancer and their families. It’s for all the men who have died from this disease and the families who have lost loved ones. It’s for the roughly 26,000 men who will be diagnosed in 2021 and everyone who cares about them.
THE WESTCOAST MOTORCYCLE RIDE TO LIVE
Is an annual event hosted by Prostate Cancer Foundation BC, a volunteer based organization that represents BC’s prostate cancer patients, their families and communities. Even if you don't ride a motorcycle, you can still step up and volunteer or consider donating.
Every donation, big or small, will have a huge impact for men and their families dealing with a prostate cancer diagnosis in BC. Just click the name of the person you would like to support to see their personal fundraising page and make a donation.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for giving the men in your life the gift of health.
