We are participating in the Workers' Bowl 2023, to raise money for the "Education and Leadership Fund for Workers in Precarious Employment". This fund will support collaborative projects with the Workers’ Action Centre.

Recent programming supported by the fund includes:

• the Feet on the Ground (FOG) Leadership Program to develop skills in base building approaches to comunnity organizing, for racialized and low income workers, rank and file union menbers and non-unionized workers in precarious jobs across Ontario;
• a five part Labour Education Series for workers on Canadian labour history, government, workers' rights legislation, anti-oppression, and First Nation history;
• A ten month paid internship opportunity for 5 workers, developing their skills in community outreach, organizing and capacity building in their communities; and
• E SL classes focusing on the language of the workplace and workplace rights.
