PARTICIPATING IN 2025 EAST COAST TRAIL ASSOCIATION INC. - TRAIL RAISER HIKERS:

By accepting this waiver, I acknowledge that I am aware that this event entails wilderness hiking with inherent risks and hazards.

I accept responsibility for my own safe and responsible conduct and that of any minors under my charge, and waive any and all claims, including those known and unknown, against the East Coast Trail Association Inc. for any misadventure, injury or discomfort which may arise or be experienced during the event or after the event if caused during the event.

I shall indemnify and hold harmless the East Coast Trail Association against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, claims, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs, or expenses of whatever kind, including reasonable legal fees, that are awarded against it in relation to my participation in the event.

If the participant is under 18: this waiver MUST be read and accepted by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must indicate the minors' name (or minors' names, if multiple minors are attending under their care) at the Additional Information tab of this registration process, as well as confirm that they accept the waiver on behalf of said minors.

In the event that I am attending this event as the parent/guardian of a person under the age of 18 years (hereinafter referred to as "my Charge"), I accept responsibility for my Charge and their own safe and responsible conduct, and waive all claims on the East Coast Trail Association and the hike leader(s) for any misadventure, injuries or discomfort which may arise during the event, including such claims of my Charge. I shall indemnify and hold harmless the East Coast Trail Association against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, claims, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs, or expenses of whatever kind, including reasonable legal fees, that are awarded against it in relation to the participation of me or my Charge in this event.
