I am a first responder with an OSI (Occupational Stress Injury) which has resulted in PTSD, depression and extreme anxiety. I have been off work for over 2.5 years, have overcome addiction, and I am actively participating in weekly therapy.

Extreme anxiety has left me hiding at home, terrified to go out. Even simple things like shopping are impossible for me. This has left me unable to attend and participate in family events, trips and even prevents me from the hobbies that I used to be passionate about.

I look forward to the support of a service dog to improve my quality of life. A service dog will assist me to be more active in my daily life, to once again attend events and activities with my family members and allow me to regain my freedom.
