My name is Laura.
Over the past four years I have been a patient under the Chronic Pain Team at CHEO. This is in addition to spending time at Holland Bloorview Hospital in Toronto, relearning how to move and again walk without the aid of a wheelchair. The journey has definitely had some painful challenges.
However, I am eager and so looking forward to welcoming my new service dog. There is already so much love for my soon to be helpful friend. With my service dog, my journey will continue to grow along a positive and progressive path of health wellness.
