Hi, 

My name is Stephanie and I am nearly 17. 

I have been an anxious kid for as long as I can remember but about a year ago I was diagnosed with severe anxiety. When I started high school is when anxiety and depression really started to take over my life. I struggle to do simple, everyday tasks such as getting out of bed or be in social settings.

I have tried countless strategies to cope with my disorders including therapy and multiple different medications, but nothing can compare to the the quality of life a dog would provide me. In receiving a service dog I am ecstatic with the new possibilities like being able to attend post-secondary or functioning enough to keep a job. My anxiety has taken a lot from me and I am beyond grateful to be given a service dog from Kingston 4 paws, allowing me to live a more fulfilling life.
