Hello, I'm Fin, soon to be 15 years old with a passion for musical theater. It's where I’ve learned to find solace. I’m a huge Percy Jackson enthusiast—throw any question my way, and I'll give you the rundown. Writing is my sanctuary, especially since regulating emotions can be incredibly overwhelming for me.

Life has handed me a mix of challenges, from a hearing impairment to Autism, PTSD and an anxiety disorder. The prospect of a service dog offers me so much hope; an ally to guide me through the daily struggles that I face and constant companion to support me while I navigate the world around me. The time I have spent with K4Paws dogs has always left me feeling comforted and secure, they are a calming presence for me.  I often feel alone in coping with life’s challenges but I believe that having a service dog by my side will help build my confidence and independence. A friend who understands my sensory and other needs who will be able to lessen my anxiety in overwhelming situations so that I won’t feel so exhausted just trying to get through each day.

This is a dream come true for me.  Simply being approved to receive a K4Paws Service Dog has already given me an incredible sense of purpose and something to believe in when life is difficult. I know that this dog will accept all aspects of who I am and I will always cherish having them by my side.
