In the early 2000's a faithful companion named Hershey entered my life, bringing with her a profound transformation. Struggling daily with the weight of complex-PTSD, OCD, TBI, Major Depressive Disorder, Fibromyalgia, tinnitus, sleep apnea, arthritis, and chronic pain, life felt like an endless battle. Hershey became my guiding light, offering solace and teaching me the true meaning of love. Together, we weathered the storms, her unwavering presence providing safety and comfort in the face of my relentless challenges.

Tragically, at the beginning of 2023, Hershey passed away, leaving a void that feels insurmountable. The loss has plunged me into a devastating abyss, amplifying my struggles. Without her, I grapple with heightened stress, anxiety, and a sense of disorientation. The routine and security she provided vanished, leaving me with a profound longing for her skilled presence. My medical professionals unanimously endorse the idea of another Service Dog, recognizing the life-saving impact Hershey had on my well-being.
