Support Liam and his future
National Service Dog
Liam is an affectionate and energetic 10-year-old boy who loves
singing, swimming, trampolining, and bouncing a ball just about
anywhere. As his parents, we are delighted that Liam was approved to
receive an autism service dog within the next two years, and we are
beyond excited about the possibilities the dog will bring to his life!
Liam is often stressed meeting new people or going new places, as
well as by any changes to his routine, but having a loyal dog by his
side would be the one constant in his life, always providing a calming
influence. Additionally, Liam has a tendency to wander when out in
public and generally seems inattentive to the potential risks of his
surroundings, so having a service dog watching out for his safety is a
relief any parent would welcome.
A service dog’s contributions don’t stop there though because his/her
presence will also encourage social interaction, not only between Liam
and his dog, but from just about everyone they encounter who has a
love for animals.
We are so thankful to National Service Dogs for giving us this gift
to help Liam reach for the stars. Theirs is an organization that
receives no government funding and yet does not charge the fortunate
families who qualify for a service dog, relying solely on donations to
cover their costs. We are grateful for any amount that you are able
to give to their cause, of which Liam and hundreds of other children
are, and will be, direct beneficiaries!
With heartfelt thanks,
Paul & Marca
Special thanks to the Spoerri Family for getting Liam and his family
to their fundraising goal.
